  20.    This memo provides information for the Internet community.  It does
  21.    not specify an Internet standard.  Distribution of this memo is
  22.    unlimited.

  24. Abstract
  25.  
  26.    This bibliography offers a short list of recent information resources
  27.    that will help the network novice become familiar with the Internet,
  28.    including its associated networks, resources, protocols, and history.
  29.    This FYI RFC includes references to free sources of information
  30.    available on-line as well as traditional publications.  A short
  31.    section at the end includes information for accessing the on-line
  32.    files.  This FYI is intentionally brief so it can be easily used as a
  33.    handout by user services personnel.
